I am the naysayer
if you aren't familiar with the randolph morris situation on the univ of kentucky basketball team, read up here.
for those of you who are familiar, here's my rant. everybody (and I mean everybody) is too certain that we'll (yes, we) be a significantly better team once morris is off his suspension and I have to disagree. he was hardly a factor last year (he did only average a scant 8 points and 4 boards as a STARTING CENTER afterall) and he would have to double his averages to be the kind of player everyone expects him to be. and not many people are capable of doing that.
mind you we have absolutely no one at center right now (our 3 7-footers aren't very serviceable, maybe except for one) so this may be a slight upgrade but morris is not going to lead this team to the championship.
my prediction: morris will be so-so and rondo (our point guard) will continue to lead our team in very stat category including rebounds.
