the weekend was a gas
I left my aim on over the weekend by mistake and my pal roger sent me this link from the discovery channel site at some point in the past 2 days. the synopsis reads:
City in a Pyramid
Imagine a self-sustaining pyramid-shaped city in the air. And imagine that it is built by robots and with little help from human workers.
yeah I think you should check it out.
in other news I saw the new hitchhiker's movie and I really, really liked it. come on, british style humo(u)r, sci-fi and existentialism? not to mention starring martin freeman? it's a done deal. lesley says I should read the books, and I just might.
I also saw i heart huckabees. I didn't love it but it was fairly clever I thought. one of my roommates found the dvd in an abandoned dvd player in the lobby of our apartment building, you see. not that it needs to be said, but this film reaffirmed naomi watts as my #1 hollywood starlet.
